Does your child have a condition that affects their appearance such as a birthmark, cleft lip and palate, skin condition, scarring from burns, an accident etc? Make your views count on their experience of secondary school.

Changing Faces, the UK charity supporting and representing children and adults who live with a face or body that looks different, is calling on you to take part in our national survey so we can find out what it is really like for children with disfigurements at secondary school. One in 500 schoolchildren has a condition that affects their appearance.

Your views will give the charity the evidence it needs to make teachers, and policy makers in the government aware of the way that secondary school pupils with an unusual appearance are treated and equip them to address this. Changing Faces wants to make sure that every child with a visible difference starts secondary school with equal chances.

We're asking as many people as possible to have their say & download the questionnaire from www.changingfaces.org.uk. We also have a new website specially aimed at 11-21 year olds, created by them: www.iface.org.uk

Please help us to represent you. Thank you.

thanks for this.
Ds2 has a birthmark, and he recently mentioned that he gets teased because of it.
