Hi All

If the concentration at point x is 4500 and point Y is 5000 what is the concentration gradient?

??

Gradient = (change in contentration)/(change between points).
= (5000-4500)/(Y-x)
=500/(Y-x)

It might be easier to draw a graph of the change in concentration and consider the gradient of the line.

Thanks red sky

The presentation sent by the teacher talked about graph's but didn't really explain the calculation
