Recommendations for improving typing?

My DS is 14 and types slowly with 2 fingers. He's finally said yes to my suggestions of trying a basic learn-to-type course/app, so I'm looking for recommendations. He needs to hit the ground running with a good one or he'll quickly give up on the idea. Any suggestions?

During lockdown1 I bought a subscription to typingclub which I think was worth the money - about £30 for a year iirc. You alternate between finger exercises to learn the positions for each letter, with fun games to practice and develop the skills.

I learned to type pretty quickly when I was a teen in the 1990s using a program called Mavis Becon which was great but quite basic. Typing Club takes it to the next level of sophistication.

I refreshed my skills with Mavis Beacon in the late nineties long after learning touch typing at school. It was basic but worked a treat for me.

I shall have to have a go at typing club ...

DS's school recommended Typing Club so he's trying that - the version he's downloaded is free. He says it's pretty good and he's quickly got up to 30 words per min. He does it for 10 mins a day.
