What a fucking dreadful school this is. DC diagnosed with PTSD as a result of experiences here, and just discovering the school's truly atrocious reputation amongst local mental health professionals. As one said to me "I wouldn't send someone I loved there".

I moved mine out due to bullying and sent her to Epsom College, the head at Freemens was useless and creepy and the i had very strong concerns of Health and Safety to what i have witnessed and to what i have come across with Video and picture evidence with voice recording from Sue Williams the bursar admitting that if the HSE were to be informed the school would be shut down. Also recording of management team asking a staff member to falsify safety records for an ISI inspections , another staff member called George informing another staff member that The headmaster and Sue Williams wanted him gone due to raising Health and Safety issues. It really is a bad school.

What ? How does this happen?

Epwell · 19/12/2020 10:50

I was told by a schools inspector that if I formally reported what had happened to children in my child's year group that there would have been an emergency inspection which the school would have failed.

Could you elaborate on these safety issues please? Bit worried about hearing this as making choices for year 3 now

Yes, the persecution continued for my DC too. I regret not reporting it to the police at the time. I actually had written proof of bullying and the school still did nothing. Thankfully it seems to have died down now but if it happens again I shall be contacting the police. In terms of safety issues I can't say too much but think along the lines of leaving children behind on the way to and from trips/matches, children allowed to sign themselves out of homework club and go wandering around the school site, parents not told when matches cancelled so the children not being picked up and no supervision of them so found wandering around the school, losing life saving medication and paperwork, that sort of thing.

previous student of CLFS here. Admittedly I graduated in the 20 teens, but when I studied at this school, several students were repeatedly bullied, myself included, and heaven and earth had to be moved before teachers would even acknowledge it. Rape culture was also rife, more than one student was raped in my year, and one girl who I personally know, who was assaulted, was told to 'think of the boy'. From about the age of 11 I had to deal with boys making sexist comments and from 13 I had to deal with boys making sex noises when wearing our sports kit. In my whole time I remember one teacher ever telling the boys off for it. In sixth form, there was a tradition that at the Freshers party at the beginning of the year, the first team hockey girls in U6 would give a 'lap dance' to the first team L6 rugby boys, until the first boys 'got excited'. I do hope times have changed since I was at this school, and I am aware that all I have mentioned above happens at most schools (See Everyone's Invited) but I feel I should mention my own experience.

Has anyone got experience of senco support at the school.
