On the horns of a dilemma.
My dd went to school A for nursery. She didn't get a place there in reception, so went to school B. Now, a term and a half later, the council are offering a place at school A.
Both are perfectly good - and she's well settled at school B, has made friends, teachers great. But school B has more than 10k cars and buses a day whizzing past the gates on two sides. The playground stinks of diesel sometimes. School A is on a much quieter road.
Would you move her? She's quite confident, but it's a big upheaval for any child. I'm inclined to think that she'll be well settled again in a few months, whereas the pollution effects could last a lifetime. Or am I, as my partner and mother think, being silly?
Thank you
