If there is boarding school for choristers, do chorister pay as well?

Usually choristers pay a reduced fee; they may be eligible for a full bursery on top of their fee reduction, but this would be means tested. Which school are you thinking of?

Arrangements for fees vary from one choir school to another, and this information is usually available on the schools' websites.

My DS is a boarding chorister. At his school, choristers receive a 100% scholarship that covers tuition fees and parents pay a boarding fee that is considerably less than the school fees. Bursary assistance is available for families who are unable to afford the boarding fees.

Some Choristers board, some have to attend a specific Independent day school, some are even associated with State day schools. Some get "paid", most get reduced fees. I believe all get "paid" for occasional "extras" eg weddings and certain concerts.
What they all get is a fabulous musical education and a training in being responsible at a young age.

St Paul’s choristers get their tuition and music lesson fees paid by the Cathedral. They are asked to pay for boarding but can get assistance with that if they need it.
