Hi Homebird8,
I was searching threads for some inspiration to help me help DD1 ( aged 10) with Maths.

I came across a post from you re Mathswhizz. Have you had a personal experience of it and if so how has it helped your children?

Many Thanks

Hi Sonnet,

I'm not homebird, but I've used maths whizz with my son. It's improved his confidence no end and you can see how his 'maths age' (a term they use to show his level in certain topics) has improved over then last 6 months - av gone up from 7 to 8.25 (he's 7.5) .

my friend is a mini-iq asociate who sells it - they've got an offer on for first month at 13.50 (1/2 price I think)

let me know if you want her details i can probably email you her reference number.

Thank-you wohmum!
Sorry for not responding before but I have not bben online since Thursday.
My dd is 10 and struggles with maths - more confidence than basic mathmatical skill - iyswim

Your DS improved well!! - If we could replicate that with DD then I would be v.impressed!
How long have you used it?

Hi Sonnett,

his assessed age may have been a bit low to start with but his confidence has definitely increased - same as yours, he gets the basic idea but isn't very sure if he's doing it right so never wants to 'have a go' .hi senthusiasm is tailing off bit now - but getting him to do exercises so he can buy food for his pet snake seems to get him back on track again!

we've been using it for a coming up for a year.
