Job interview, any ideas what the written task will be?

I have a job interview on Friday for a teaching post in a secondary school. I'm not new to teaching, done a number of interviews but never been asked to complete a written task. Has anyone had any experience of this? Any suggestions what the task could be? I'm thinking they could ask me to assess some gcse work.

Another possibility is something that tests a persons ability to differentiate a number of jobs/ issues into a workable order of priority to carry out. The answer that is important is that the one that has safeguarding issue written all over it, is the one that has highest priority. I have seen this used as a starter before the interview to see how people respond to a bit of pressure.

I would put my money on what you thought, assessing some work.

Intray like admission describes is more often for SLT post.

I have been asked to assess data before now. Never asked to mark GCSE work but that's certainly a thought.

So I got the job Smile and the written task was to write a lesson plan and explain my reasons behind each task. Thanks for all your help guys, gave me food for thought x

Oh interesting! I don’t know that I would have classed that as a written task so that would have really thrown me! Congratulations!!
