Asking primary school for info about school for upcoming appeal

I am appealing and have asked the school many questions like when they have gone over their PAN and why ?
Has there been any accidents in the school because of overcrowding.
Does the school have to provide me with the answers to these questions I ask ?
I need the answers in order to have a case at the appeal

Yes they need to provide you with the answers to anything that you ask for your appeal. However if it's an infan class size appeal those particular questions won't make any difference I'm afraid.

Thanks ! No it’s not an infant class

Do you know if it’s a legal requirement to answer my questions ? I can’t seem to find any info about it 😨

Schools are required to answer all relevant questions. However many schools will try and leave it to the LA as the admission authority to answer the questions such as how many in each year group in the official appeal paperwork.
In terms of when they have gone over PAN and why, they might well not answer that because it might be disclosing personal information. They need to answer how many they have been over PAN by but not the reason. For instance pupils may have been admitted without appeal because they were looked after children or have special needs. By answering you in full they are disclosing personal information about the pupil.
