If your child's teacher suddenly left the school and you weren't given any information why - what would you think?

I would think they'd had enough of the job and bailed.

That's it.

i'd be VERY curious but would assume it was something they wanted to keep quiet. could be bereavement, depression, any illness really... but i would assume it was private rather than criminal.

could be a million reasons. Either something to do with school asking her to leave or because she wanted to leave suddenly for personal reasons that she didn't want to share or had problems with school.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.

Nervous breakdown due to nosey parents?
Family crisis
Sack due to falsifying Sats results?
Took one look at my kids and left?
Odd they haven't explained. Go and ask the head or the office.

wouldn't think anything really. people leave jobs all the time - maybe she'd resigned but hadn't told anyone, maybe she won the lottery, maybe she had a family crisis, but ultimately I don't think information needs to be forthcoming does it?

that being said we had a teacher at school who left very suddenly and even then I was pretty sure why - he was a bit touchy feely if you get my drift ...

I would think they had had a breakdown. Honestly. Ds2's teacher is very sweet but not really able to handle it sometimes and he has had a lot of days off sick this year. I am assuming he is under stress. Of course, it could be anything.

Maybe she won the Lotto and told them to take their job and stow it.

Well, think Operation Ore and things you should not be looking at on the internet, especially if you use your credit card to pay. You know when you think you know someone and then you realise you had no idea...It was an absolutely horrendous time.
