oh essbee, I'm sorry I wasn't more helpful. Calling in sick sounds like a good idea to me.

Honey send me your address again - I am going to send him his tintin book do you think that would cheer him up?// Maybe you should keep it until he has been good for a period of time and then plonk it on the mat by the frontdoor as though he got it for being good rather than for his long ago birthday??

Honey - we have spokern about this before - you think you are doing fine but in reality you have so much shit still on your plate and have to deal with it somehow - its easy to lock it away and get on with things and then BANG**%%!!$$ everything falls apart - it is normal - you are going through one of the most stressful times of your life and as much as you think you are coping you are still dealing with far more than 'normal' people have to day to day.

Do you think maybe you should visit your doctor - tell him how things are going and how you are worried about DS??

It'll get better. Not sure when, but it will get better.

In the meantime, my eldest brought the following "recount plan" (something they do in school after holidays) home:

When? Holidays
Who? Family visitors
Where? Home
Why? Rest
First... I showed X his room and we played ghosts with the lights out. Trick ghosts.
Then... I took X (unidentifiable word). Played ghost game. X and I went late to bed.
Next.. Bed
Feeling? Great
Why? Ghost game.

He told me all about how much fun he had with X when you all visited.

essbeee, hope that doctor visit helps you get on top of all this. You have had so much to cope with. I agree with Twinkie that it's got to come out sometime. Hope your family are being a bit more supportive and you have been able to talk to them about helping you more.
