Which senior schools for Artificial Intelligence?

Anyone know of any senior schools which teach Artificial Intelligence (making robots)? My son's a little obsessed and, after 3 years, we're increasingly realising that it's not just a phase :) Tips on the most forward-thinking science and computer departments (I'm not good at either so totally clueless) really welcome. Things like exchange programs with other good schools abroad, links with MIT, etc?

Oops- I should have read the thread, sorry!

If he genuinely wants to get into that area he really is best doing a levels in maths, further maths, physics and computing. There will be fun clubs and activities he can do to help fuel his enthusiasm, but that won't have any bearing really on getting into a good university for that kind of degree.

Thanks Bertrand, yes chickyduck. But I also want him to have fun doing it now, so he's not frustrated. All he talks about is ordering missing robot pieces and needing our ipad to move the robot and inventing a bionic hand. He makes a new moving machine every week and goes, literally, mad when he can't make or build. He devours the science section of the Week Junior the minute it arrives. He just needs to 'tinker' now (as well as learn maths & science etc).

Can he make me a robot to sort the laundry please? Grin

Ha, Countesso. Funnily enough he's super focused on housecleaning robots, because I whinge so
much :) He says he wants to develop a bionic hand with fingers as sensitive as human ones so they won't break glass, rip clothes, can feel heat to feed babies, etc.
