DD1 has always been the perfect pupil at school, quiet, gets on with her work, has never got in trouble etc etc...which should be great, but the truth is it means she is forgotten about
She knows that the others who misbehave are rewarded for behaving for short periods of time and that her behaving all the time is...well expected and not rewarded.
And so her spelling is crap, she doesnt care, but its still the top end of her class,so its ok as far as the teachers concerned, but it SHOULD and COULD be better. Theres no reason for it not to be.
Anyway...im going to spend 2 evening a week going over spellings and maths and whatever shes doing at school with a reward at home...just need to know where she should be so I know what we are working towards.
