Which school is this?

zippitippitoes · 05/12/2006 16:38

It was called something like pot porrow.. a village school, it was a story on the radio about their new all weather coats and singing washing line

I know Pot Row. I don't know the school.
We have been thinking about going back to Norfolk for a while but the appalling comprehensive schooling always puts me off.

WhyDooLittleStarsShine · 05/12/2006 16:47

This would definitely be a move in the right direction though

The head sounded an interesting peronality obviously with strong convictions..can't find an internet link to it

It's nothing new. My sister was a very frail and sickly child and was eventually sent by the doctors to an 'open-air' boarding school at the seaside to build her up. They did as much as possible outdoors, classes and hobbies/pastimes. I remember she had her own guinea pig! Her health improved a lot and she loved it there.

Hallgerda · 07/12/2006 10:18

Yes, suedonim, there's a former open air school not far from where I live. I'm not sure the traffic fumes from the South Circular would be considered all that beneficial these days...

suedonim · 07/12/2006 14:00

Erk no indeed, Hallgerda! It was probably a leafy suburb in those days. I think my sister's old school is now a SN school.
