Ds is at an ASD school and needs a calm environment in which to learn. We have become increasingly concerned about the behaviour of the pupils around him which are causing him to be anxious but school have regularly reassured us that this is well managed etc.
At the start of term a new teacher joined the school but left within a few days. We have now learnt that the teacher had encountered some 'challenging behaviour' and decided that the school was not for them. The teacher had previously worked at EBD schools and so was experienced in working with challenging pupils. I am now wondering just how bad the behaviour must have been to make the teacher leave. Any thoughts on this? We are looking to remove ds as soon as possible now because of several concerns we have.
