Wording about bursaries

Can someone please advise. On a Indy school website I've been looking at they do not list exactly what bursaries and scholarships they offer instead they say that they have "15 charities who have assisted with places" and "The Family Trust assists with fees in hardship cases and gifted and talented cases"

So firstly are these charities they talk about the same charities that are listed on the educational trusts page I.e. You can apply if you've worked in a bank, in the textiles industry, etc etc??

And what is The family Trust?? Do you think this is their own sort of personal bursary scheme?

Thank you!!

a good starting point would be googling 'The Family Trust'

I'd just call the school and ask for further information about the bursary schemes. They would be a much more reliable source of information than anyone on here.

It means the school offers no bursaries itself, but is aware that some pupils have received money from charities.

Thanks guys I bit the bullet and rang! The family that run the school are a 'family trust' and so it is them that gives hardship bursaries etc
