It's to say that she will be leaving at the end of July

It's because of bullying and the schools lack of concern & it has been going on a long time

I think she might be rude, should I let her?

Or should I censor it?

In your covering letter it might be worth mentioning that as your daughter feels that her problems have been ignored by the school, you would appreciate it if her letter was not ignored.

Katymac I think it's great that she wants to have her say and I'd abslutely encourage it. She must be allowed to give her feelings about this.
I'd be very proud if my dd wanted to do this.

Someone else mentioned letting her take control, and I would think that this is really important if she has been bullied and feels let down. Let her send it, warts and all, it might give the head the kick up the b** he obviously needs. I hope she's happy at her new school

She totally wimped out....(not that I mind)

Dear {head}

I have decided to leave [oold school]. In September I am going to [new school]. I have been at [old school] for four years and I will miss it.

Best Wishes
{DD's very funny and slightly odd signature}

I think she has a future of avoiding the issue
