He's an eccentric old mantotally harmlessand a bit of a flirt in the most harmless possible way. I mean, my own dh laughs his head about this man's brazen flirting--he's not a threat to anyone! Really.
Anyway, there was a parent dinner a few weeks ago. Another mum and I were trading stories about things this man had said to us. We had everyone in hysterics. . .I mean it really is very funny and not creepy or worrying or anything like that.
It's possible the headmistress was listening in, though I doubt it. But Class Rep was--and Clas Rep finds this man "peculiar" and wishes her son didn't have to have him as a teacher once a week. So I wonder if she could have used this conversation as fodder to get rid of him in a sort of "concerned citizen" sort of way?
If so I'll feel absolutely terrible. All the mums are sad he's leaving, and we're all writing letters to get the school to keep him on. He's extremely good at what he teaches, and the kids think he's fab.
