Ms Short became a teacher for a week. To be shown on TV on the 25th, I think. I'll take a look, it sounds interesting

I completely agree, Oldiemum. I thought the assembly was considerably less sophisticated than the one my ds's class did for harvest festival this year, and he was 8. I just read the TV review in today's Times, which was a real hatchet job

Hulababy - I'd love to know what was said in your staffroom!

The kids are up in arms about the phrase "higgledy piggledy lives", basically, I think, because it includes the letters "p-i-g" which has helped them to "interpret" what it means.

Oldiemum - she even kept forgetting Tracey's name - her head of department and mentor!
