Berries - are you there? Charity status PTA

Berries - I have dowloaded the forms and now see we need a constitution. Rather than trying to write soemthing from scratch, I'm trying to see if there's anyone out there who has successfully registered as a charity and can offer words of wisdom. I would imagine that most (Primary) school pta's have very similar constitutions.
I'm really trying to do a lot of homework before going back to the next PTA meeting. I don't seem to be getting a lot of help from other members! It's a group who quite happily all "muck in" when needed - but there are no clear lines of responsibility, or a remit of what our work should include! We do raise on average £3k - £5k a year. Thanks for your help

Sorry - just spotted this - will try & find stuff this pm (bit busy as it's summer fair this weekend )
just quickly - you will need chair, secretary, treasurer, we also have 'events organisers' who take responsibility for a partic. event.
Also have a class rep for each class who will organise stalls for fetes etc. & liase with teacher
Can't remember the constitution as such, but ours included bits about raising money for non-essentials - ie we weren't allowed to fund a pt teacher for a year, but could contribute 18k for new library
When's your next PTA meeting?

Our next meeting is 7 July - so anything you can find before then woudl be fantastic!
Thanks very much
