There is THE most childish woman at dd's school. It's worse than being back in reception, I swear.

what's she done then dinny, c'mon, spill the beans...

dinny · 09/06/2006 14:29

was about to post all the annoyances but suddenly got paranoid she might lurk on MN.

suffice to say she seems v insecure, jealous and CHILDISH...oh, and slightly single-white-female too.

oh spill FGS, you can't leave us like this....!

LIZS · 09/06/2006 14:37

oh do tell...

dinny · 09/06/2006 14:39

I know, was just thinking "Why did I start that thread"! Sorry, what a boring thread! Will try and suss out if she ever lurks on MN when I pick up dd! It's not very interesting anyway - just started it as excited to have PC at home in the day as from last week!

MrsBigD · 09/06/2006 14:51

of course it's not a myth Grin

I remember a thread I started because a mum snubbed my nanny and me for weeks because dd accidentially took her lunchbox home :)

suejonez · 09/06/2006 15:21

Thats not a joke is it MrsBigD? Oh god what have I got myself into, I don;t really do bitchy very well - it tends to make me laugh then it all deteriorates....

MrsBigD · 09/06/2006 15:28

SJ it's part of life :)

No matter what the situation there's always some people around who think they are better than you etc.

Nought to do with kids hehehehe

suejonez · 09/06/2006 15:35

Actually I have no doubt that there are some people around who are better than me, but I try to avoid them as they make me look bad. It's an approach which has worked well so far.

hunkermunker · 09/06/2006 15:39

Dinny!

How are you? Apart from aghast at bitchy woman!

dinny · 09/06/2006 16:14

fine thanks, Hunker! it's not blatant bitchiness, more snidey and doing best to exclude dd where possible. think her nose is ut of joint as dd v good friends with the girl she had coveted for her dd (how mature this all sounds lol)

Hunker, had to miss work yesterday as have flipping blocked duct/mastitis, not sure which (from cutting ds's feeds down to 3 a day and 3 at night. eek!)

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 09/06/2006 23:38

Oh no, Dinny re blocked duct - you poor thing. Are you doing all the combing toward nipple, hot flannel stuff? Will DS feed in acrobatic positions so his chin points towards the lumpy sore bit?

Mad snidey woman - I've got all this to "look foward" to...!

handlemecarefully · 09/06/2006 23:47

Rise above it dinny - don't waste a second thinking about this sad pathetic woman

dinny · 10/06/2006 07:47

it's so much beter today, Hunker (blocked duct). Thank goodness. As for bitchy woman, will try to ignore! Difficult though, you know how defensive you get where your kids are involved!

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 10/06/2006 11:12

Glad to hear you're a bit better, Dinny.

And yes, v hard to ignore - mind you, if you want tips on cutting yet pleasant things to say, you know the right place to ask Wink Grin

dinny · 10/06/2006 11:28

ooh, yes, cutting but pleasant - any suggestions anyone?

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 10/06/2006 11:28

What sort of thing is she saying to you?

dinny · 10/06/2006 11:32

actually, she is queen of pleasant-yet-cutting, lol. SO bizarre to actually hear someone bragging so blatantly too!

off to swimming now - catch you later xxx

Pinotmum · 10/06/2006 12:12

Yes she's in my playground too! WinkGrin

MrsBigD,

Lol at lunchbox episode, I remember when my dd was still in the kindergarten of her first school, ie. 3 or 4 years old and another child took dd's (named) jumper home.

The mother appeared in the classroom the next day shouting at the top of her voice who is

MrsBigD · 10/06/2006 13:54

CAM thing is the lunchbox that dd took home was lovely and pink and sparkly and had no name on the outside. My nanny assumed it was hers as we do tend to buy pink/sparkly stuff on dd's demand. Nanny actually called mother immediately when she noticed and mum came to pick the box up with a very aloof angry glare, no thanks no nothing... cow Grin

arfishymeau · 10/06/2006 14:36

I remember lunchboxgate MrsBigD. I have made a mental note never to accidentally abscond with a pink sparkly lunchbox.

dinny · 10/06/2006 17:32

God, it's so weird, isn't it? Was just swimming with dd's friend and her mum and we were discussing the bitchiness. So much energy must be spent plotting, lol!
