Have posted a week or so ago about our potential return to UK in next 12 months after many years overseas. Received many helpful comments to help me narrow done some choices for my DD.

Next DS... He will be Y5 in sept 2014. Sociable and outgoing. Loves art and lots of sports - particularly rugby and hockey. He is dyslexic - reading has caught up in last 12 months with a lot of additional support. Current school say he has just reached age appropriate level. Spellings and writing a bit under a year behind. Orally he is strong - good comprehension etc just struggles with reading and writing. Maths ok but not brilliant - mostly because we've needed to do a lot of extra work on reading and writing so less time to do number bonds, times tables etc.

Any thoughts on schools I should consider in Surrey or nearby - more northern Surrey, just south if London kind of area?

Looking for a school which will help him shine in his talents, including his academic talents. Appreciate all your thoughts to help me narrow things down in good schools guide! TIA.

Was going to suggest Belmont near Dorking but that may be too far south for you. See www.belmont-school.org. It's a fantastic school for all- rounders with a lot of support available for special needs.

Moon Hall or Belmont would be my top suggestion. If his problems are more severe than that there are others.

Thanks - have had a look and sounds good. Will definitely add to short list.

Any other thoughts from anyone?
