Is this in a secondary school? What's the school like?

I've been working full-time in secondary (but no planning or marking to do) for almost a year, and I'm just getting to the point where I don't collapse with exhaustion at the end of the day when I get home.

beetroot · 16/03/2006 18:23

yes secondary. they want someone sho has professional theatre experience..

Go for it! I bet you would be brilliant. And they would be very lucky to get someone with your professional background.

lots of luck, beetroot - the job sounds ideal and so you. I am sure you'd be really good at it.

If you feel a bit iffy about the time commitment, you might be able to negotiate less hours later if they offer you the job.

Also, you never know, some other applicant might want to job share. I have a friend (actor turned drama teacher) who teamed up with another drama teacher to offer their services to schools as a job share.

beetroot · 20/03/2006 21:36

the job share idea is great. However not sure how I woudl organise this. I guess I shoudl wait and see if I get anyinerview first...
