It's BTEC, not BTech

I passed my BTEC in Business and Finance 25 years ago Shock and still no-one ever knows what it is.

I know that there's no 'h' in it but can never remember it it's all capitals or a mixture. And I work in a secondary school too (though we don't deliver any BTECS).

Me too, BTech is an Indian qualification.

I'm sure I've made that mistake. Then DS get their dyslexia from my side so I'll use that excuse. It was ONC/OND and HNC/HND in my day and I don't suppose anyone knows what they are now.
Mine all did BTEC for their compulsary IT at 14-16 and some of them chose it instead of GCSE PE......because they thought it was an easier option.
Their school still offer BTEC at 14+ but don't offer at 16+ any longer. There was a mass exodus this year to the local college.
