Where can I find a copy of the Early Years Curriculum?

I have a DD aged 4 (July b'day). We have decided to postpone her entry into school until at least age 5 (Sept 2013). We are also considering homeschooling.
I would like to know what kinds of things she would have been covering in school this year so that I can introduce some aspects through crafts, play etc (as I am worried that she may be behind her peers if she does start school late).
Please can someone direct me to where I can find a copy of the EYF curriculum and sites which are useful for learning through play. I need some ideas as I struggle to think of creative things to do with her that would also help her learn.
Thanks in advance!

The EYFS curriculum has just changed this year(new one comes in this september). Old one has been archived and can be found at TheDept for Education website. If you google EYFS 2008 it will come up and then you need Practice Guidance for the EYFS 2008. If you download it, it tells you what is expected to be provided and the sort of things children would be doing in the areas of learning. The new version is also at the Dept for ed website but, from your point of view, it is less detailed and might not give enough to go on.

The curriculum details what the children are expected to learn but not how they will be 'taught' it. Look on the Department of Education website.

EYFS curriculum might still be useful as it contains the early learning goals, showing what dd should be achieving by end of FS. It also gives an example of effective practice for each statement and notes on what to look for in child and how to plan/resource it. On its own, it won't be enough but would certainly be worth a look as it does have some suggestions for how some aspects can be 'taught'. Won't inspire you with the more creative ideas though, I must admit.
