Can a governor be reelected after their term is over? Or do they have to step down?

Yes, if they are still eligible to stand. For example a parent governor couldn't stand for reelection if the no longer had a child at the school nor if the were now working at the school (more than 500hrs a year if memory serves me right - as they are then eligible to stand as a staff governor)

Yes you can stand for another term of office, just speak to your chairperson about it.

Yes, they can be re-elected or the Governing Body may decide to co-opt them back on.

Or if there is a space as a community governor they can switch from parent governor to community governor without an election.
