I need to do an A Level.

The 3 providers that come up most often are ICS, the OpenStudyCollege and Oxford Tutorial College..

Does anyone have any experience of these or other providers? Good or bad?

I meant the level 2 BTECs taken from Y10 which are vocational equivalents to GCSEs.
I would also recommend visiting some local secondary schools before you apply for the PGCE course as this will give an idea of what to expect.
Only a few secondary schools in Bristol have sixth forms so opportunities to teach to A level are limited if you stay in the area.

I used to tutor for the National Extension College and would say they are one of the best- they were then but you need to have a look around.

What is vital is that you see what the options are for the external exam and any course work that needs moderating.
