and is Richmond education authority Richmond or Surrey.

Very confused.
Might have to find somewhere to live around there in a matter of weeks. Dd will start in Reception in 2013 and although we could rent (if affordable) on top of school would hope to be able to buy nearby at some point.

Also, is Richmond okay to live in with 3 kids and no car and a daily commute to Euston?

Many Tia.

Thanks, but I don't wanna live in Richmond especially. Happy to live in Hackney (I grew up there - s'alright). Grrrrrr. It's just our situation at the moment.

Richmond borough is a great place to live with children. Richmond itself might be out of your price range, but parts of the borough like Twickenham, Teddington or even Hampton are definitely affordable and have brilliant schools.

An example of a good size family home near Collis (a very desirable school).

Another vote from me for north Barnes at primary school level. Your choices at secondary level are restricted though.

but the secondary thing is changing fast, fridayschild, RP Academ making progress fast, plus you are v close to the West London Free School in Hammersmith and another free school will be opening soon in Barnes/Mortlake which will access all The Harrodian's facilities. OP, I would def look in that area if your dp wants an easy commute to Euston.
