I have been up early and done all the Sunday lunch, washing, ironing and other stuff. I then took DS (6 yrs ) out on his new bike and then home for lunch . When I gave it to him he said " I love your food " I said "Thankyou ,I do try " He then said "but you put some thing extra in it which nobody else does " I said " Oh whats that " ( Thinking home made gravy or small sausages with chicken ) and he said "you put extra love in " BLESS .

Oooh you lucky lady, what a precious little love!!! My 3 year old was sitting munching his Sunday lunch today and I said "Is it nice, darling?" "Yes," he replied "but not as nice as the dinners at the Charlie Chalk pub!"

How nice!! My dd (2.5) only ever says 'yuck' when you sit her down at the table. No matter what it is. She would exist on chips, chocolate and ketchup if I let her!

Trefusis - you fed your child a convenience meal??? Shame on you!!! May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits!!!

I too am a scrubber of unwashed organic vegetables. Though why I bother, with all the face-pulling and fussing that goes on around here (and that's just dh).......
