DS is being assessed on Wednesday.

someone is coming for an hour to watch him.

Should they be talking to us first. His teacher hastold us that she will feed back to us.

we want to talk to the assessor ourselves.

Is there a protocol.

Is he beinfg assessed at school? If so I think its quite usual for you to get feedback from the school. You should be able to speak to the assessor yourselves though - I've certainly spoken to everyone who has been involved with ds over the last year.

How did it go?

mumofthreebeauties · 01/12/2005 16:35

Thanks for remembering us. It went OK.

They haven't spoken to us yet. We have an appointment in a couple of weeks time.

The teacher said she was lovely and has given lots of useful advice.

The feeling is it's attention seeking and somebehaviour is to be ignored (saw that one coming). Her TA is going to comein after Christmas to a couple of sessions a week to do somemore obs.

Although he id now up to a full complement of stickers each day now, so we'l see how it goes.

I will know more in a couple of weeks.

It's a new year and what a start!

Since he went back to school, he's had a full complement of stickers every day. I am so proud.

Behaviour support said he was a normal little boy who was a perhaps a bit emotionally immature.

They will support him for a few weeks and report back.

I am greatly relieved that he seems to have setled down. Don't know what caused it, but I'm not bothered. He is settled, doing very well with his reading and writing and maths, has stopped being wet at night.

Maybe it was just developmental and he's grown up a little bit.

I still am a little concerned that he says he has no friends to play with at playtime.

Thanks for all your kind words.
