A " Christian" Independent prep - another question

I am on a mission. I need to sort my DS's education. Most independent schools are now on holiday ( including my own). I am feeling some pressure to sort something out.

I mentioned in another thread that I and DW are not happy with DS's school
I am withdrawing him from that school and he is now home with us until the end of term (state school). We have to consider options. HE is one. Prep (the prep belonging to the school where I work would be one and was the only one until this morning) .

However, DW has just been told of a prep nearby which is a " Christian" school. It roots are what was called " evangelical " it having started out in a local pentacostal church twenty years ago. Its been recommended to us as a small prep with good standards and a family atmosphere by someone whose children went there. Its closer to home (most preps we can consider are further away . My own school is an hours drive from home). Its not a school we had heard of. Its fees are very reasonable.

We are not religious but not against it either. Has anyone any expience of a school like this?
Thank you for any information.

No experience, but check the website for mission statement/aims etc. It should be clear what they are about. 'Evangelical' and 'pentecostal' tell me that they will be explicitly Christian. Ask the person whose own kids went there. As a Christian it wouldn't bother me as long as the education is rounded and there isn't a 'them' and 'us' attitude to non-believers in and outside the school.

You might want to look at the science teaching. There is a Christian prep school not too far from us that doesn't teach the theory of evolution and where every subject is taught from a biblical perspective.
