Advice please!

I'm starting a new tutor agency in my local area. There isn't a specific locally-based agency and it's a fairly affluent place with a high proportion of private schools.

I'm vetting all tutors in a major way, trying to do something different by only employing qualified teachers with good references from their current schools, who know their subject, how to teach it, and the requirements of our local schools.

Trouble is, I think there are many tutors in my area who operate independently, by WOM. I don't know names, etc. yet - my daughter is only 2!

My question for all you mums of older kids is, how do I present us as a credible alternative? And where should I market so as not to appear desperate to compete?

Thanks for your help.

You must offer something unique to the parents.
I think employing vetted professionals is one of them.
But try to brainstorm what you can offer - write it up for us and we should be able to tellyou how and if it appeals to us.
Also - are you offering bust ups for Entance Exams or Scholarships at what level (7/11/13/GCSE/A Levels)

help with reading, teach how to read your kidsearly (from todlers) with flashcards?

addres certain areas of literacy and numeracy?
