They have to be so well behaved in school, they take it out on you when they get home I think.

SherlockLGJ · 26/08/2005 20:02

Surrey

He starts on September 8th

SherlockLGJ · 26/08/2005 20:05

Seb

My brother did this flounced out the back door, overnight bag/case with Teddy and tooth brush.

He went down the side passageway, and then failed to appear in the front.

My Mum crept out and he was sitting on the case swinging his legs in the pasageway.

She waited in the kitchen,he then crept back in and announced in a very grandiose mannner that he was going to give her one more chance.

I hope she can still afford to shop after she has paid the mortgage and the cleaner to pick up after her

Very happy to see that it's not only my son who has gone crazy. Just like yours Aimsmum, loves school but very moody at home now. Everyone says they're tired and sleep really well but mine seemed to have even more energy than usual. However, I've started some new rules (actually almost first rules ever) including half an hour earlier to bed and that has made things a bit better. Isn't school exciting though!

My three all did this, yet were angelic at school, apparently. I think it is exhausting for them taking in all the rules and making friends and doing the right thing all the time, concentrating..The good behaviour stock runs dry by the time they get home. But it doesnt go on forever!

How did your little ones make it through the week?

DD starts reception on Wednesday next week, so this thread has given me an idea of what to ancticipate.
