Bought a pram off ebay, arrived this morning, not had a very good look in daylight yet, as waiting in for another delivery, with a quick look over, there are marks of the harness pads, marks on the basket, a hole in the basket, dents & a scrape on the bumper bar.

Which isn't my idea of 'new'.

The photo was the catalogue photo.

Where do I stand please folks?

i would contact the seller and point out the damage then wait for their response.
is this a business seller?
it's v.odd that an item is described as new but used for 2 weeks..this would really make metbh

Not sure where you will get with this one. While you say it is not your idea of new, they may argue that it is their idea of 'new but used for 2 weeks'
If it has real damage then you could say it's not as described if the damage wasn't mentioned.
As already advised, contact them and see what happens. You can open an SNAD, but they will want the item returning before issuing a refund

Was this a bugaboo bee by any chance?

MrsDimples · 17/06/2010 15:25

Thanks.

No it wasn't a Bugaboo Bee, but I'm thinking of one of those instead . . .

I sent a message last night saying it wasn't my idea of 2 weeks use & requesting a refund - I understand I am liable for the courier costs. Awaiting to hear back.

Ah okay. I just saw someone re-list an item that I'd previously seen being sold by another seller and she was saying '2 weeks old' - but I knew from the original listing that it was certainly not that new! iyswim!

MrsDimples · 17/06/2010 19:56

What is a reasonable length of time to wait for a response?

I was thinking 24 hours, then sending another message - is that fair?

It got through to Ebay deciding on the dispute and found in my favour, despite her lies & manipulating
