Buyer wants me to phone them...

I've been trying to sell my kitchen unit doors for a while now - third relisting, and they went for £5.
Got a message from the winning bidder:
'I am happy to be the winning bidder, but I realise that £5 is not going to be worth your while to off-load these kitchen doors. We dont have use for all the doors and we would ideally like to have them delivered to our house (wokingham).
Suggest we discuss over the phone.'

I advertised the doors as buyer collects, from north Wales (!!) with the option of London as well.

What should I do here? Phone? Be annoyed?

I think I'd be inclined to e-mail them that although the listing stated buyer collects, you would be happy for them to organise a courrier, or whoever, to pick them up, once payment has cleared.

I've noticed on ebay that when the listing says 'buyer collects' - when you look down the page at all the items the postage says 'free'. So I hope there hasn't been a misunderstanding. But even if there has - it's down to them to sort out getting the doors off you.

either phone them or message back. either way let them know that they are collection only and you can not / will not package them for delivery. Ask them if they still want to collect them and if not then will they agree to mutual cancellation.

what should you do? answer = be annoyed (they should have discussed all this with you prior to bidding.

I e-mailed, and got a reply too. I said it was collection only, but (whilst I'm still annoyed because you're right, Six, they should have discussed this with me first) they've been a little bit sneaky...but this could turn out nicely for me.
They spotted that I was willing to shift the doors to London (I am; I'm going next week, my DH lives there) and realised that they live on my likely route down...(they gave me their postcode). They said if I could meet them at a service station on my way, they would pay me 'a premium' for that.

Is this super dodgy? I was willing to shift the doors to London anyway, and I will be going past service stations convenient for them. So it won't be putting me out too much, and would save me having spare doors hanging around in London until they come to get them.

If not dodgy, how much should I push for??
