banned from ebay for four weeks

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been restricted from selling on eBay for breach of our Seller Non-Performance policy.

anyone know if we can do anything about this. it's highly unfair!

something lacking on the sellers dashboard Smac, (i didn't even know it existed and still can't work out why we fail in one part)

also we seen to have an open dispute that was solved with a refund two months ago, yet has not appeared on ebay only paypal.

been so hard to try and sort this out, even emailing is very hard to do and still not sure what is going to happen..

If you try & open another account while you are suspended, you will be banned from ebay permanently. Its fine to have 2 or more accounts whilst you are a good & honest ebayer. As soon as you are suspended though, they come down on you like a ton of bricks. Even just trying to open an account will get you booted.

Which part of you seller dashboard are you lacking in? Your negs & paypal dispute are not enough for you to get a suspension on their own, there must be something else.

the buyer satisfaction is red and unacceptable. to be honest i really have no idea what i can do to recitfy this and have found no help anywhere at all. even on the answer boards. seems we're just lumbered with the ban with no idea why.

here and as far as i can tell the neg and dispute has made the ban happen, even though the dispute was long ago closed but hasn't appeared on ebay.

cannot call or contact anyone to tell them this - it's crazy

was the ebay dispute resolved? Did they open both an ebay & paypal dispute?

i suppose they did, but the only option the ebay dispute gives me is to refund, which we have done. even if i press the refund link it tells me i've already done so so why is it still open?

it's seriously driving me demented.

Whatever you do, dont open another account whilst suspended. Its in their terms and conditions that if you do this and they discover it its a lifetime ban.

Whilst you can run more than one account, when suspended you cannot open another or use another account if linked in some way.

Do you have just a personal account or a business one?

a personal account. we won't open another account until the ban is up. it's just so frustrating not knowing quite why it happened.

we also have a neg and the buyer said two days ago that he was happy to withdraw only to do nothing. there is only two days left before the 30 days are up.

Does you dashboard not show up anything bad? Seems strange that you are banned if nothing is showing in red or warning on the dashboard. How long ago is the sale from the latest neg?

I did think it could be you say "its a big chunk of your income" that they dont think you are a true personal seller but rather a business but the reason they have given you doesnt appear to tie in with that.

the buyer satisfaction is coming up unacceptable as we have one neg and one open dispute (which was long since resolved). that's it as far as i can tell.

it's not a particularly large chunk was slightly exagerating i thing. just so annoyed.

Can you close the dispute off under paypal/ebay? Are all you DSR ratings over 4.5?

all dsr are over 4.7. most are 4.8 or 9.

the dispute was closed under paypal as we refunded, he send the item back. i have emailed all the details to ebay.

i have heard nothing. still comes up as unacceptable on the dashboard. i don't know what else to do, it's really unfair and i can't talk to anyone to sort it out. it's really stressing me out.

Disclaimer - I really do know nothing about Ebay, BUT, can't Southeastastra open an account herself now, surely this wouldn't give a lifetime ban to her DP

dp just wants his account to be back to selling he's worked really hard to get the ratings he has.

just spoke to live help she sounded very helpful but then passed me over to email them.

once i email things sort of go dead and i'm back to square one.

the accounts would be linked because of their address. They would all get lifetime bans.

My ebay account got closed (I am assuming because someone hacked it). I have had no luck opening it again. I was selling to raise money for charity so am gutted I have lost my feedback and customers.

AND ebay told me to change my hotmail password so I could reopen ebay account. I did this and promptly lost my years old hotmail account! If you think ebay are hard to get hold of, try hotmail!
