Is it after 7 days you can apply for fees back for unpaid item?

I listed quinny zapp last thursday started it at 99p and BIN for £50, put it on for a 3 day auction so it would end at weekend. After 18minutes someone buys it on a BIN however didnt hear anything re payment so I emialed on Saturday to ask if they were collecting or would like it posted, she replied sunday saying she'd pay Monday.

Still havent heard anything or recieved payment so emailed agian this morning asking whether she had sent payment (just in case error in paypal) or whether she doesnt want to proceed (which I am imagining is the truth) havent heard anything yet!

So is it after 7 days I can request a non payment strike and fees refunded as tbh I nned it gone as its another thing taking up space plus money will be handy for our holiday!

After 7 days you can open an unpaid item dispute but it is another seven days after that (unless the buyer responds to the dispute) that you can request the non payment strike and refund of fees. eBay don't like sellers you know

I think you could relist it, however if the buyer replies in the next seven days and you have sold to someone else on a BIN they may leave you neg feedback even though they haven't kept up their end of the deal ITKWIM. It's a real pain the backside, I have a non payer at the moment who appears to have not paid for 10 plus items this month yet eBay still haven't imposed any penalty on them!

I may just see what happens and start dispute tomorrow and pop it in local paper for next friday!

Thanks for your help

For selling BIN items I always click the immediate payment option so you can't get caught out like this.
It's a PITA when buyers don't pay, sometimes starting the dispute prompts them into action though.
Good luck

smac I thought I had clicked that may need to check my listings more carefully, hopefully starting dispute may make them make a choice. Looking at feeback (only got 8) all say fast payment etc
