i'd ask them why they are asking tbh. weird imo

kalo12 · 06/12/2008 18:25

'why do you want to know?'

whoingodsnameami · 06/12/2008 18:25

Weird, just tell her its going to cost you nothing, you just want rid, but personnaly I would'nt reply, nosy mare.

Malkuth · 06/12/2008 18:27

I wouldn't reply either. Doesn't bode well for an easy transaction. Actually I think I would block them from bidding on my items!

wotulookinat · 06/12/2008 18:27

how weird. I would ask why too.

PirateDora · 06/12/2008 18:32

Thanks for that, glad it wasn't just me thinking they were weird questions to ask.

Think i will just not reply and hope they dont hassle me!

ask them why and then let us know

piscesmoon · 06/12/2008 18:48

Block them from bidding-they will be more trouble than it is worth!

sixlostmonkeys · 06/12/2008 19:58

I think they are just trying to do you a favour. I've often seen items listed like yours and wonder if the seller knows it is actually going to cost 'them' to get rid of them. You will be spending money and spending time just to 'get rid' of these.

sarah573 · 07/12/2008 11:55

I agree with SLM, by the time you've paid listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees, postage and packaging you will probably (well certinally) be making a loss on them. Bit of a strange way to phrase their question/advise though!

MrsMagooo · 09/12/2008 11:10

How odd

I would just ignore it!!

bubblerock · 09/12/2008 11:14

They are either being nice and thinking you may be losing money or they want to know your secret and sell the same things - weird though!

PirateDora · 09/12/2008 16:40

Thanks for all your msgs!!

I never replied to the questions but think that maybe they were just trying to work out why i would sell things at a probable loss.

All the items have ended now, most selling for more than 95p and more than what they were priced on the cards which were clearly seen in the pics!

Never mind, more money for me.
