flibberty, I am obviously too naive as anything dodgy never even crossed my mind.

my mind is boggling now.

Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 19:52

ooh have i uncovered something dodgy ?
Why would you go undefcover as a human knitting machine though

LaTrucha · 05/09/2008 20:22

She thinks they're BLUE?

"This is a 100% unique and a one off only produced in batches of 14, I have even numbered the inside lapel ON THE INSIDEm of the sock"

rofl

Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 20:27

LOL unique in batches of 14

mehgalegs · 05/09/2008 20:27

Ah, so they are limited addition blue baby socks which are yellow for 5-6 year olds.

LOL at the contrast between the one she obviously did knit ( and even I can knit better than that) and the blue one that is yellow.

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:29

This is fantastic, I have not laughed so much in weeks!

the attractive unique bron jumoper has almost killed me.

I have to watch these items and see if any of them get sold. Do you think there is contraband woven in to the thread?

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:30

you have lost me even more now megs.

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:31

Hi and thanks for visiting my auction I have been busy and knitted about 14 of these Gorgeous

DARK BOWN WEST AFRICAN STYLE JUMPES

WILL KEEP YOU WARM IN THE DARK WINTERS NIGHTS

This is a 100% unique and a one off only produced in batches of 14, I have even numbered the inside lapel ON THE INSIDE ofeach DARK BROWN BABY ADULT JUMPERS by hand!

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:32

but she has listed 15 ofg them!!!

sorry

mosschops30 · 05/09/2008 20:33

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:35

Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 20:35

Nutterly did you get any reply ?
I am going to get one of the jumpers for dp and the socks for dc's for xmas am sure they will become collectors items

Even ds 6 said £98 for socks that's not right!

OP posts:
mehgalegs · 05/09/2008 20:36

these aren't even knitted are they?

Why is it all in batches of 14? very dodgy.

LackaDAISYcal · 05/09/2008 20:37

OMG......these are meant to be mittens

they are different sizes ffs and look more like egg cosies. Definately PMSL at this now

if they are genuine, then the seller has obviously cocked up with the listings somewhere.

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:38

has to be a hijacked account no?

mehgalegs · 05/09/2008 20:39

The mittens look like shaggy ink caps.

Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 20:40

This is really odd isn't it!
Didn't really look past listing price of yellow socks!
Was only searching for baby tights!
What on earth is someone with 100 % feedback who sells perfume doing has someone hacked her account ?

OP posts:
Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 20:41

FA crossed post should i alert ebay ?

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 05/09/2008 20:41

I thought that when I just looked again. What do you do in these situations? alert ebay or is that up to the seller?

1wish · 05/09/2008 20:42

PMSL at this thread ( Crying actual tears of laughter). I feel so sorry for the real seller, it must be someone winding them up surely?

But it's so so funny

FlightAttendent · 05/09/2008 20:43

I think person will notice, ebay are crap generally at getting on the case but she will deffo have informed them I think. Don't worry about it,

god how completely insane though

why! why!

mehgalegs · 05/09/2008 20:44

Deffo dodgy. The perfume auctions are done really well, worded correctly with fonts and backgrounds.

The knitted auctions seem to have been posted by someone who doesn't speak English that well I'd IMO.

( Lapel, bron etc...)

Lilyloo · 05/09/2008 20:45

How weird are some people she must have sold them a dodgy 'parfum'
LOL good revenge
Imagine what the seller thinks weird knitting stalker !

OP posts:
southeastastra · 05/09/2008 20:46

it gets more dodgy the more i think about it

1wish · 05/09/2008 20:49

At least it won't do any damage to the real seller, it's not like someone will actually buy a pair and then leave negative feedback is it?

Unless someone like Posh spice is needing mittens for her dcs and is prepared to pay a premium

If it is a hijack by someone though its extremely strange to say the least
