Is this dodgy or am just being tired and irrational?

I've just bought 2 tickets to a live kids' show in London on Saturday afternoon. I was one of only 2 bidders and they were cheap so I'm not too bothered if they turn out to be fake - i'll just have to fork out for box office ones so my DD isn't too disappointed.

Anyway - i've suddenly remembered some tale about people selling tickets so that they know you are out, and then burgling you during the performance. The sellers are in hundreds of miles from London and say they were coming to the show but now can't (which seems a bit unlikely). They are major sellers (over 6000 items, 98.7% feedback) and have quite a lot of neutral and neg feedback but for selling tatty DVDs and claiming they are new. But they have lots of copies of the same thing, so I'm not suggesting for a moment that they are knock-off!

Anyway, would you go and see the show, assuming the tickets arrive on time?!

prob worrying about nowt but could they be sent to a friends house who will def be in on the night so no fear of burglars

thank you for answering! i've already processed the payment so they have my address. I found some very positive feedback for another pair of tickets which they sold to the same show in a different town which they went to themselves, so i think it's real now, and i'm not worrying anymore.

Email them and say how excited your PIL or someone will be to go and see the show as you bought the tickets as a present.
They might think you're a bit mad but who cares, and then they'll think you're not going and will be in on the night in question!!!
