It is definately worth sending everything you sell recorded delivery.

Just add the additional £0.70p to the P&P & make it clear to sellers the postage is higher due to sending recorded.

This means it is fully tracked & requires a signature so no-one can con you & say they didn't recieve something when they did.

The Ebay rules have now changed & you have to accept Paypal as a form of payment.

Always try & take plenty of photos & this will encourage people to buy & be completely honest in your listings.

If there are any faults/stains/marks - even tiny ones mention them as that way you have covered your bum.

Good luck!

If you are a non smoker state that it comes from a smoke free home.

You can also get templates to make your listings stand out - also means you can list as many photos as you like.

This is my template

Offer postage discount for multiple purchases.

Give as much information about items as you can - I find listings that have just one or two words off putting.

Oh thanks everyone - is it best to start off at a really low bid? to be honest I just want rid of lots of shoes!
Knickers - what is autivia?

If you just want rid & aren't fussed about making huge amounts of money I would start the bidding at £0.99.

That way you might be suprised & get fab money for them or you might get rid of them for £0.99

Auctivia is a free site that enables you to add listings to Ebay with lots of photos etc.

More questions - do you have reserve price? say if you started it low - is that the reserve price iyswim

You can only set a reserve price at £50 or above - so it's mainly for large expensive items.

No probs - can all be a bit daunting at first but you soon get the hang of it

Thank you - I adore it & will be sad to see it go (if it sells) but need something more unisex for my little man
