I've received this e-mail today. I am a bit to be honest. But maybe she's completely genuine and I'm just too cynical for my own good...

And what is a "mutual agreement form"?

Am thoroughly pissed off as I was relying on the £40 I thought I'd gained from this to get me through a very skint month

Anyway, here it is:

"Hello,

Unfortunately I am writing to sellers to inform that my account has been used unauthorized to purchase several items. This item 'office shoes voucher - offspring, poste mistress £50' has been one of them and I am writing to appologise.

Would you consider sending a mutual agreement form through the'unpaid items' section, and I will return it to ensure you claim back your final value fees as soon as possible?

I am so sorry about this, but I believe my account was left active on a public computer and has been used to bid on several expensive items.

Again I am very sorry about causing inconvenience and can only suggest that a mutual agreement form will ensure sellers get their value fee credits as quickly as possible.

Thank you Anna"

Oh, and also, her contact details said her name was Claire, not Anna. Although maybe that's easily explained.

Btw you can't file unpaid till 7 days after the sale. You could do mutual straight away and relist it if that is better for you. Totally your choice - stuff her!

WonderingWhy · 09/06/2008 21:32

You could say, 'No, you don't understand. I have checked the list of items you have actually bid on, because I know how to do this, and you have bid on this voucher, another similar voucher - which you did pay for - a pair of appalling shoes, and a set of scales which leads me to believe that you are going to put said shoes on chunky legs, which is a bad idea.
I digress. If you are unwilling to pay for my item I will have no choice but to report you to ebay. Had you politely explained your actual situation I may have been willing to choose mutual, but as you plainly lied about it and concocted a ridiculous hijack story to back up your claims, I think the ebay community deserves protecting from such practices, so kindly desist from contacting me and I shall be adding you to my blocked list with immediate effect.
Kind regards,
...

Sorry. carried away there!

Wonderingwhy, your last post but into words (but slightly more politely) my thoughts exactly

Oh it's alright, you can stand up now

Six is the real expert, I am just one of her minions.

Please let me know if you do send her a note about her big cow print boots though, I want to know what happens

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 09/06/2008 22:13

Sooo tempted....

But thinking of my unblemished 100% positive feedback

Anyone fancy an Office voucher, going cheap?

I'm with Wonderingwhy on this.

If you go through a mutual she can still leave feedback and you as the seller can not leave a neg or neut. It is quite obvious that she isn't going to pay.

maybe something along the lines of -
"Dear ifuraindrop102 - I am sorry, but I probably didn't make myself clear. It is not your feedback that I have checked but your Bid history. Your bid history contains only four transactions for the last 30 days, (which indicates that no bids were placed from your account without your knowledge), one of them being a gift card the same as the one you have won from me.
As this proves that your claim of numerous purchases being made without your knowledge to be wrong, the buyer/seller trust is no longer there. On these grounds I am not prepared to risk a mutual withdraw from transaction as I have no guarantee that you will honour your part in the process.
As you have made it clear that you are not prepared to pay for this item, my only course of action is to claim my fees back. You can of course ignor any further ebay communication regarding this and we can consider the matter closed"

I have used the same line of thought as wondering, in the hope that she doesn't respond to the dispute, thus disallowing her to leave FB.

ninedragons · 10/06/2008 09:23

Pissing myself at chunky legs/shoes.

ShowOfHands · 10/06/2008 09:40

Oh lordy, not only does she have no sense, she has no style either. They're barely even shoes.

Anyway, remind me not to get on the wrong side of Wondering or Six.

MsPontipine · 10/06/2008 13:56

I LOVE anything animal print but I wouldn't buy those boots!

WonderingWhy · 10/06/2008 14:00

That is very good Six.

They're not actually cow, are they? More zebra.
God I hope she isn't a MNer!

God I am keeping her ID bookmarked. I cannot wait for the next item to appear.

WonderingWhy · 10/06/2008 14:03

'Irregular choice shoes' pmsl

ahem. Somewhat.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 10/06/2008 18:46

ROFL

Have sent six's response

She has responded:

"Hi,

I am very sorry that I have caused you problems and I can see the information you are viewing, although all I know is that I have 'won' 4 items I did not bid on myself. I do not want to cause you any further problems or trouble, and understand you do not want to risk sending a mutual agreement form. If you do decide to change your mind just to say I would definitely return it to ensure you receive your fee back as soon as I was to receive it.

Again I am very sorry and I will not bother you again.

Anna"

Lying beatch.

Anyway, time to put this one to bed I think

Thanks again for all your help

Blimey. That's so cheeky isn't it - still refusing to admit liability even though it's plainly obvious she has bid herself - and left feedback for at least one of those things!
Well done Moisty. I think she has prob been added to a few blocked bidder lists now, which cannot be a bad thing
