Packing solid, bulky items?

Hi I'm new to selling on eBay. I've sold small items so far. I urgently need to declutter my home so I'm going to list some bulky items.

For example, a vintage magazine rack or a medium size plant pot: don't know if they need to go inside a box or do I just wrap them in bubble wrap and bin liners? Delivery with RM or EVRI?

(Not selling on FB marketplace as I've had enough of no-shows and low-ballers😖

Gentle bump. Anyone?

If breakable (or if might get deformed in transit) I would always put in a box with lots of padding - sufficient to allow no movement of the item. We use bubble wrap and scrunched up paper. We mostly use Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service as the most reliable and buyers tend to prefer this to Evri. I guess it depends which sort of bin-bags you are proposing to use - some get easily ripped so not suitable. Also watch your dimensions for bulky items - both Evri and Royal Mail do have limits on both size and weight of parcels they will take.
