Dealing with QR codes

I’m sure this is the most ridiculous question with a screamingly obvious answer but it has me stumped. If I’m taking a load of parcels to the PO I always end up printing postage labels and sticking them on myself as I just cannot work out how to ensure I connect the correct QR code with the parcel at the PO counter. It’s a pita. Is there a trick to keeping those organised. I’m having visions of everyone getting the wrong thing. Actually, it’s not just eBay, so many companies do paperless returns now, I’m ending up having the same issue with those. Thanks for any brilliant tips!

If you mean eg Yodel qr codes when posting at a Yodel depot, yeah; I can't see an identifer either.

I write the name on the parcel, having looked in eBay, then match them with the printed labels at the Yodel depot.

At the PO though you don’t see the label that’s generated, it’s all done behind the counter after they’ve taken the parcel off you. But then I’ve no idea which of the many QR codes to give them. I’m sure I’ m missing an obvious solution.

Ah, sorry I don't usually use the Post office any more. Just collect plus/Yodel.

It's a common concern! One effective trick to keep your postage labels organized with the correct parcels is to match the tracking number on the label with the corresponding number on the parcel. You can either write the tracking number on the parcel with a marker or use small sticky notes to attach the label and note the number. This way, when you're at the post office counter, it's easy to cross-check and ensure that each parcel has the right QR code. Additionally, you might want to explore QR code generator tools or apps to create a simple system for yourself, incorporating unique identifiers or colors for different batches. This can further streamline the process and reduce the chance of mix-ups. Hope this helps!
