Hi , as a total newbie selling on Ebay , Vinted or similar any helpful suggestion would be lovely. I have several bnwt dresses and shoes for sale and not sure where to start . I don't have a printer, not sure how to work out postal costs and which is the best company to send 🤔 ?
And probably several other questions when I get started !
As I said total dummy lol
TIA

Hello @Nickinoo22 we've moved your thread over to eBay.

It is much easier to sell on Vinted than ebay but be realistic about prices. What brands are you selling? You dont need a printer you can use digital labels with Inpost and Yodel and you can print in the location with Evri. I dont use royal mail but I think they will print too.

List at the weekend

Take decent photos, well lit, photo the labels - you can do it straight from your phone on the app

Include the brand in the title

Ive made about £400 recently, I had a lot to get rid of. Biggest priced sellers were a pair of raybans for £20, a communion dress for £20 and a North Face ski jacket for £20. The rest is made up of £2-£3 items. I got £4.50 for a pair of M&S jeans BNWT.

Oh and list what is relevant to the time of year ie not a winter coat now, people are looking ahead.

Thank you! That's a great help . I am not expecting a fortune but no point just leaving them in the wardrobe.

I've always just sold on Ebay. No need for a printer, handwritten labels are fine.
I've always used Royal mail, and charge around £3.60 for postage as that covers the cost of the parcel .
With ebay you can either sell as an auction or buy it now. If selling as an auction you can include an accepting offers option.

I always go to the post office to get proof of postage.
