Seller offered combined postage and now is ignoring me

I'm sure this may have been covered by I'd appreciate the help.

There were multiple items for 1 seller that I wanted. A couple of days before the auction ended, I messaged asking if I won a few items, they would combine postage into 1 parcel and charge for 1 parcel accordingly. The seller replied yes, they can combine the postage.

I won 4 items 2 days ago, have sent 3 messages asking to send me an invoice. I tried to request one but I get the error message 'Seller doesn't accept combined postage'.

Seller is not responding. I do still want the items, but don't want to pay £20 odd postage when it could be sent for £6.

Do I HAVE to pay? I don't want strikes against my account but feeling a bit aggrieved because I did ask about combining postage beforehand, which then effects how much I'm willing to bid on said items.

As I understand you message the seller via one of the items you won, then they should give you the invoice, it's not on the buyer to request especially if it comes up as the seller does not combine postage.

Other wise it's pay the full postage and hope the seller refunds the difference

As for the strikes, then usually last about a month and it does restrict some purchases but only to some sellers that have more restrictive sales

@Hawkins003 Thanks for the reply, the problem is if I pay I'm reliant on their goodwill to refund the difference. If it was £5 or under I wouldn't be fussed but it's between £10-£15. Especially as the seller has now gone quiet post auction.

I can understand your perspectives, I made the error, won about 10 items, but the seller didn't offer to combine postage, so I left the payment, yes I got the ticks but if other sellers could combine postage I didn't see why they couldn't, unless they were less experienced with ebay.

It's always good to have a back-up eBay account for buying that way if one gets limited, you still have another account
