Hi, I'm selling some 0-3 month clothes baby boy.. I have about 20 vests, 12 babygrows and 6 little outfits.. a lot from Next, River island, Dunnes (Irish dept store).. how much would you pay for these second hand? Have no idea how low to start off??

List them for a buy it now price that you will be happy with. If unsold within a week then add the make offer option. 0-3 month old clothes do not sell for much.

At a guess I think that lot might go for £10 maximum probably £5 though.

I agree with @Sallypally0

Between £5-10

If I have something really good I sell it on its own like a more expensive item

That's mad isn't it? There's probably easily £150 worth there if not more.. but I wouldn't buy newborn clothes myself second hand so I understand why they wouldn't go for much.. think I'll donate them instead!

I'd make then into bundles of up to about 5 of the same item. The outfits perhaps individually. Then you'll get more money (and more interest) han listing 1 big job lot. With bundles that are too big, people assume that it's a few good bits padded out with crap.

Agree with pp do buy it now/best offer rather than bids.

I agree, split them into smaller lots. I just put them on for enough to cover the postage plus 50p. Then let the bidding commence.

Oh and yes always add an offer option

Sorry one more thing, list exactly what is in there in the description eg. 3 x next vest 2 x primark. People like this as then they can see its not 1 next vest and 20 primary items.

They are currently worth about a tenner. Although they might have cost £150 when new.

But baby clothes are so cheap and available is the thing. I had designer stuff for my baby that was gifted and second hand, going spare. I have probably spent a grand total of a tenner on children's clothing as we accept all hand-me-downs shamelessly.

Sorry but if you're buying designer stuff for a baby you need to accept this is a frivolous spend that will not recoup. As long as you got the enjoyment you needed from it just let it go. Not worth the hassle trying to sell. Gift it to someone like me. Reward us for our stinginess.

It's honestly not worth your while sorting them all out... just give them to charity
