... buyer hasn't paid for item she won 5 days ago.

I've emailed her, but to no avail.

What's the procedure now, how do I go about relisting/getting fees back, etc, etc?

What a BIG bunch of ass!

Many thanks for any words of advice!

You could contact ebay customer services and get the buyers telephone number, that's one option., then threaten to rinf them if they haven't paid by a certain time. It worked for me.

Also, if she has items for sale herself you could ask a friend with an ebay account to ask her aquestion about one of her items, then you will know if she is avoiding you.

Failing that, open a dispute.

lazarou · 13/01/2008 11:33

Also, check when they las tleft feedback. If it dates back to five days ago then you know she maybe hasnt been at the cvomputer.

Wuxiapian · 13/01/2008 11:41

It's not looking good, buyer has -1 feedback.

What a shit!

oh dear. Is it bad? Get their number, it usually spooks them into action.

Wuxiapian · 13/01/2008 11:49

Buyer has 1 neg. That's it.

How do I get her number?

If you had other bidders you can offer to the next highest bidder as a second chance offer. Email the original one and say they have 24 hours to pay or you will be selling to comeone else.

lazarou · 13/01/2008 11:52

Send customer services a message ssaying that the buyer is not answering emails and you are concerend about the bad feedback. Make sure you put the item number in youremail so they know what they're looking at. Also your ebay name and their ebay name.
Go to the 'help' topic and type in 'customer services'. It should give you an email address. Just ask them what you should do.

file a non payer dispute (after 7 days) this may prompt them to pay. If they don't pay then you get your fees back and you can relist.
if they don't respond to the dispute at all they can't leave FB.

blueshoes · 13/01/2008 12:33

Wuxiapian, what a pain for you. Hope you get hold of her soon.

Someone (feedback of 5, all positive) did this to me and went AWOL. Turned out later that she was ebaying from her office computer and all eBay emails were spammed out (or so she claimed). Her tel no. did not work though

You can specifically block this buyer from ever bidding on your auctions again. Also, you can ban certain types of buyers from bidding on your auctions. Eg I ban buyers with a feedback score of -1 or lower and buyers with 2 or more unpaid buyer strikes in the last 30 days.

Just go to My eBay > Preferences > Buyer Requirements.

Wuxiapian · 13/01/2008 12:35

Right. Ok.

I shall give her until tuesday to make contact then file a dispute.

Just out of interest, is there any way you can stop folk with bad feedback from bidding?

Thanks once again for the help.
