i have just had some totally uneccesary neutral feedback and i am fuming as there was no need for it. i have seen on other peoples feedbacks that you can add a reply so others can see the sellers side. but i cant see how to do it.
i hate that they have do this without contacting me first

From memory is there not a bit called "feedback forum" to click on and you can reply then.

i wll have a look, thanks, i am so mad.
i had to wait 3 weeks for payment, and they have complained that there is a bit of dust on the coat.
god, i am a busy mum just trying to make a bit of extra money, not a business.

go onto feedback forum (down the left side of my ebay page) and then it should have reply to feedback recieved as one of the options...click that and leave your reply!!

some people are absolute *%$£'s on ebay!! i once had someone buy a stunning gorgeous prom style dress off me, worn once, dry cleaned- cost me £250 new they paid £35 inc p&p for it....had it for 3 weeks, then left feedback saying they'd recieved it with a fag burn in it and i hadn't replied to emails....hubby said they probs put a fag burn in it themselves wearing it/before wearing it and were pissed off so left ME the bad feedback!!- but then i saw she'd left bad feedback for a few others in the same sort of manor!!- i wish we could ban em all!!!

I bought some supposedly BNIB Mini-Boden boots for my dd the other day. Well they arrived with a big wad of chewing gum on the sole and were clearly not new. To be fair the seller did offer my money back and I therefore felt obliged to leave positive feedback, because if I had left negative for her she would have done the same for me. That's why Ebay is so unfair when you have a bad experience.

you should have reported to ebay and gone through paypal to claim your money back!!!

remember to stay calm in your response

I paid by cheque. Perhaps I should get myself a paypal account?

glaskham · 04/12/2007 18:17

yes i reccomend paypal!! we were once coned by someone who took cheques/postal orders only, were 'selling' games listed as new and sealed, at a good price then lots of people would buy within a few days, they'd make a bit of money then run with it as no-one could refund the money!! i now only buy if they take paypal as its my guarrentee- haven't had to use it yet, but wouldn't think twice about it if a seller didn't do anything to put a problem right like in your case!!
