OMG - the bidding has gone sky high on a snowsuit!

I have got a JoJo snowsuit on at the moment, and the bidding has gone up to £24.99 with 3 days to go, and the highest bidder has put in another bid as well, so it may go even higher! Still, I suppose it's in really good condition, and cost more than that new. Hope they're happy if they win!

maybe they think they're getting that super-cute baby as well

That is mad isn't it? Although I have to say, it is a gorgeous snowsuit. I have a coat probably equal to that in cuteness (with sheep on) but I am keeping it as a momento of my dd's toddler years. If ever I need a quick burst of money, I know what I shall sell, b*gger the family jewels!

oooh, i have the pink flowery one of those. i am aiming to squeeze dd into it for another winter but it is so on e-bay for next winter!

How do you know that the highest bidder has put in another bid as well (never sold on ebay)?

I'm not that sentimental about clothes - and I know as a DM of 2 DS's, that I probably won't ever get to pass them on (I want to be a nice MIL!) to future grandchildren.

I've just listed a couple of slings, and I was going to use family photos in the listings, but chickened out, although I'm sure they'd have helped the bidding, as they are gorgeous pictures! That one's from the JoJo website.

CSWS - look at the bids page. You can see she's put in another bid after the £24.99 one. Avoid this as a buyer, as it might cause less scrupulous sellers to 'shill' bid the price up.

Did you really list the starting price as 1p? Or did you put a reserve on it?

I bid on several of those jojo suits for my dd but they were all going for over £20.

I list a lot at 1p. It's taking a chance, but it usually goes OK. I think it makes people add things to their watch list. I don't use reserves - think it's got to be a minimum of £50 for a reserve.
